 Ruth Schell

I'm Ruth Schell.  I'm the Reading Interventionist at San Jon Schools.  I'm excited to start my third year working with students, helping them develop their reading skills.  "Today a reader, tomorrow a leader!"
I am a graduate of Clovis High School and ENMU.  I have a Master's of Education with emphasis in Reading and have taught more than 27 years, at least 18 of those years with Kindergartners and First Graders.  I love to read, I love to teach others to read, and I love to help others develop a love for reading.
My childhood was spent in a little community near Clovis called Ranchvale.  All of my adulthood has been in or near Grady.  I'm married to Jimmy; we have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.  Our children are Jamie and Mike Booth, Quentin Wood, and Brian Wood.  Jamie and Mike live in the Grady community also.  Their children are Payton, Dustan, and Jordan Provencio.  Quentin and Diana live in the Grady community.  Their children are Kyle and Talynn Wood.  Brian lives in Clovis.
